    Yes the Fine young Cannibles perform this song well; BUT you got to hand it to Elvis when he peforms a song he makes it his own.
    Nobody would even remember this song if Elvis dident perform it and now its one of the worlds most recognized songs.
    I`ll send you a vid.

    Excuse Me !!! Elvis first performed this in 1968 Fine Young Cannibals were a “one hit wonder” formed in 1984 and their version cannot be compared to Elvis’s

    Someone said, (Ruth Stapleton?) that Elvis got a great thrill performing live that he could not experience offstage so he turned to drugs.

    @HorrorVet
    I understand your direct intervention. But I was born in 1974 in Vienna, Europe. (I still live there) So, it’s a nice fake just for my imagination. Doesn’t matter for me. : )

    The audience in this “performance” is actually stock footage from the 1967 Oscars. Elvis by this time was not as popular as he once was. This performance was for circa 200 people ,I was there, ( I worked behind the scenes).

    I wouldn´t dream of writing this kind of shit about the Beatles. What is your purpose of doing that? We´re just here to enjoy listening to the KING. Not to make other people sad.
