no elvis voice doesn’t sounds the same as the sun record…its deeper more mature..this comeback special..Elvis full time comeback to the music buisness must of been a HUGE deal..in 1968 none of the 50’s acts were still around..the beatles and the stones and who..jimi hendrix they were the big time rockstars of the day..and there comes Elvis Presley! tan lean..perfect shape and voice like he had never had before …that’s why he’s the king

Mohammad Rafi The greatest singer in the world EVER. What a voice, what range , what skill, what control, inimitable even today. A pillar of the indian film industry, however
vastly underrated by the indian film industry who only awarded him a handfull of awards.
They should mourn the loss of such talant every night and every day

people will only take what they bring to art. someone once said to me that elvis presleys’ music was ”boring” to which i answered, ” you’re bored with elvis as boredom is your ignorance satisfied.”

Actually it was “My Happiness” Elvis came into Sun to record for his mother. It was about a year and a half later that Sam Philips called Elvis back to record a ballad he had, and at one point during the sessions, Elvis came out with That’s Alright which was the sound Sam was looking for, & this was Elvis’s first recording for Sun.

When this came out I was 16 yrs old! I went totally berserk along with the other girls! We went to see him at the Louisiana Hayride every Saturday night. Can you imagine the SOUND of this compared to what we’d been listening to? Adults thought we were all going to hell! LOL! Wonderful days back then. I saw him countless times, Even the last concert where I cried because of what was happening to him.

this song is lovely. it was a gift for elvis mother (offered by sam phillips) for her birthday. it makes me sad because Elvis tragically lost his mother when he was at the start of his career. she was 46. she’d died from hepatitis and a heart attack. he adored his mum. noone could console him. she was elvis’ life. rip elvis.
